Morton-Rutledge Fire Company was the result of a consolidation of the Morton Fire Company and the Rutledge Fire Company. Both former companies had over 100 years of service to the communities. Morton-Rutledge Fire Company was formed and has been serving the public since 2010.
We are a 100% volunteer company with approx 40 employees who serve as administrative, active firefighter, or both. We primarily serve Morton Borough and Rutledge Borough, but do provide mutual aid to the surrounding communities. We currently run with (2) Engines, (1) Tactical Response Unit, and (1) Command/Utility vehicle. If interested in joining, please stop by the station any Thursday evening around 6:30pm for an application/orientation.
